weekday parking

Parking is limited on Northwestern's Evanston campus, so attendees are encouraged to utilize public transportation. Those who drive should take particular note of the following guidelines.

Visitor parking is NOT allowed in the lots adjacent to the Allen Center nor the Jacobs Center prior to 4:00pm. Unauthorized vehicles will be ticketed ~$50 by the Parking Office. All driving attendees should park in the lot adjacent to the Henry Crown Sports Pavilion/Norris Aquatics Center (SPAC), on the north side of campus at 2311 Campus Drive.

A shuttle service will run continuously between the SPAC parking lot and the Allen Center from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The SPAC parking lot will be staffed with conference volunteers from whom you may obtain a day-long parking permit. Attendees may also obtain parking permits from the shuttle driver or from the Allen Center. Permit must be visibly displayed in your windshield.

There are several convenient hotels and inns within walking distance or a short drive of campus. Many of these options offer reduced rates for Northwestern visitors, so be sure to ask when calling.

Chicago's public train systems both service Evanston. The timing of the conference in Spring usually allows for a walk in fair weather.
